Our research group covers from fundamental aspects of analytical chemistry to applied science. Our goal is the deep understanding of chemical interactions as a path to advance in sensing strategies. This vision allows us to carry out outstanding solutions to address present and future societal challenges. We empower the collaboration with the industry in order to translate our research into feasible products. We find this issue crucial as a way to close the cycle of investment and boost the technological progress.

Vision: ‘Chemical Information at the center of the Connected World’

Mission: Our focus is on the exploration of affordable strategies for gathering chemical information from the environment in an attempt to connect the physical and chemical world to the digital era’

The research interests of the group are in electroanalytical chemistry, membrane transport, development of electrochemical techniques, electrochemilumiscence and optical sensors for environmental and biomedical applications, triggered devices and synchrotron characterization among others.
